Kasi Jones

Kasi Lynn Jones, age 39, of Little Rock, formerly of Lafayette, Indiana went to be with her earthly and heavenly Fathers on July 6, 2018. She fought a hard two-year battle with cancer with beauty, courage and positivity. She was born in El Dorado, Arkansas and raised in Magnolia, Arkansas. She completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Central Arkansas and went on to become the Director of Orientation Programs at Purdue University, a career of a lifetime. Kasi lived life to the fullest every day and was a beam of light everywhere she went. She greeted everyone with a huge smile with "Hey Y’all!" and never met a stranger. Her passion was motivating and encouraging college students to succeed in school, leadership and life. In her spare time, she enjoyed giving back to the community through volunteer involvement in numerous organizations.

She is preceded in death by her father, Harrison Stewart Jones.

Kasi is survived by her mother, Becky Aycock Jones; brothers, Kirk Jones and Derek Jones; sister, Brennan Rivera-Jones; sisters-in-law, Amy Jones and Rosie Rivera-Jones; niece, Georgia; nephew Gunner and many other family members and friends.

A Celebration of her Life will be July 28, 2018 at UCA Buffalo Alumni Hall.
