Karen Kay Keopple

Karen Kay (KK) Keopple, 70, of Little Rock, passed from this life to her eternal life in heaven after a brief battle with cancer. KK was born August 13, 1954 to C.W. and Ruth Keopple. 

She is preceded in death by both parents and her sister, Robbie Keopple. She is survived by her husband, Jack Pearson, her brother Bill (Marsha) Keopple, nephew Landon (Dana) Keopple, niece Brittany (Ryan) Fowler, three great-nieces and two great-nephews, Kinslee and Knox Keopple, Harper, Emma and Cole Fowler (who she loved and adored), her half-brother Bill (Patty) House of Amesbury, MA., and her beloved dogs Lucy and Little Bit. 

KK, a 1973 graduate from Parkview High School, earned a BSE from UCA in 1977. She proudly served her Tri-Sigma sorority as Vice-President. She loved her college years and made life-long friendships that remained a vital part of her life until the end. 

KK spent her career teaching/coaching in the Little Rock area. Her passion for student-athletes was evident by her dedication to making a difference by teaching resilience, teamwork, leadership and life skills beyond sports. 

KK was an avid golfer, something she shared with her Dad and brother. She was proud to be the club champion at Western Hill Country Club. Family was so important to KK. She loved spending time at the lake making memories with family and friends. She was loved by all who knew her and always put others first, never turning down a chance to help someone. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
