Juanita Whitehead, age 77, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away at home Sunday, September 9, 2018 surrounded by family. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to Luvenia Nichols on July 11, 1941. In her younger years, she was a Patient Care Technician. More recently, she was honored by being a columnist for the Arkansas Democrat Gazette.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death four siblings and her husband, Sherman Homer Whitehead.
Survivors include her three children, Marcellus Whitehead, Myrna Whitehead, and Debretta Whitehead, her grandmother, Corrine Whitehead, and one sister, Annie Mitchell. She is also survived by many grand and great-grandchildren whom she adored and loved dearly, many nephews and nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.
