John Randall Grounds, 65, of North Little Rock, passed away on November 19, 2015. He was born on March 28, 1950, to Billy and Martha Grounds in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He passed away at Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He had multiple illnesses, two types of stage four cancer, and Chemo Therapy proved to be too much for him.
Johnny never was the same after a 1980 car wreck in Mexico that took the life of one of his younger brothers, Bobby.
To many of people Johnny was bigger than life and just as hard to handle. He loved living at The Christopher Homes gated community Apartments in North Little Rock. He enjoyed all his friends and neighbors, he often spoke on how kind they all were to him.
He is survived by his Mother (Martha Yingling); two brothers, Jerry and Tommy Grounds; sister, Robin Hicks 2 sons & 1 daughter, Michael Lee, John Erwin and Amber (deceased).
Graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Friday, December 4, 2015 at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Services entrusted to Arkansas Cremation. Guests may register at www.ArkansasCremation.com.
