Jimmy McElroy

On Monday, March 6th, 2017, Jimmy Dale McElroy left this earth. Jimmy Dale was born to Wanda Sue Zintel (McElroy) on September 4th, 1964. Jimmy is preceded in death by his Father Jerry Tim Redmond, Grandparents,Howard Leo(Jeff) McElroy, Maxine Warren (McElroy), and Alvin Warren, Great grand mother Cora Jane McElroy and his Step-Father Chris John Zintel. Jimmy is survived by his Mother, his soul mate of 25 years Teresa Mae Cupit, his four children Stephanie Shawn McElroy Moore(Kyle), Cody Dewayne McElroy, Shar Lee Cupit, and Staci Jo Roach, his two grandchildren, Steven James Guillory Jr., and Araya Sunshyne Guillory, his brother Jeffrey Keathley(Cecilia), his sisters Stacy Keathley Misenheimer(Jimmy) and Carolyn Sue Keathley Rogers(Jeffrey), his uncles Ricky McElroy, and James McElroy, and his aunts Barbara McElroy, and BJ Campbell, as well as his cousins Ricky McElroy(Little Ricky), Jaymie Nicole McElroy-Dickson, and Misty Redmond. Jimmy was known for his calm demeanor, love of music, and his knack for fixing things, he was affectionately nicknamed "Macgyver". Jimmy Dale was especially close to his uncle Ricky, from whom he learned his trade skill, and he loved his grandparents deeply. Jimmy had many hobbies but he loved to draw and create things. Jimmy worked as a flooring installer throughout his working years, and he loved his craft. He was loved by all who knew him and He will live on in the memories of those whose lives he touched, may he rest in love and peace. Until we meet again.

A memorial service to celebrate Jimmy Dale’s life will be held on March 18th, 2017at the Morgan Full Gospel Church from 12-2 PM. There will be a potluck lunch. Family and Friends are encouraged to attend. Please contact Teresa, Stephanie, or Misty to RSVP so that a head count can be given to the church in preparation for the memorial by Thursday March 16th, 2017.
