Jimmy Lee Harris, 71 of Malvern, Arkansas, peacefully passed away at his home surrounded by his loved ones on June 25, 2024. He was born January 15, 1953 to the late Buddy and Betty Harris. He was born into the carnival business and spent his later years painting. He was the owner of Pro Coat Painting and was a national wide painting contractor for Hobby Lobby for several years. He traveled all over the country with his commercial painting business.
While traveling for work he enjoyed seeing much of the country. He enjoyed mountains, beaches, rivers, Estes Park, Las Vegas, Mount Rushmore, and Calico Rock on the White River. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing golf at many different courses with his closest friends. He once was able to watch the U.S. Masters in Augusta Georgia.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Hance Harris; his parents, Buddy and Betty Harris; brothers, Michael and David; and sister, Kathy Mowery.
Survivors include his life partner: Brenda Callaway; Children: Buddy, Shanna, Christopher(Samantha), and Benjamin; Grandchildren: Kadisun, Kylan, Elaura, Realin, Saige, and Oakland, his bonus son Ramsey (Sara) Burress; Bonus daughter Jasmine Skinner; and bonus grandchildren: Liam and Jude Burress, Kaylee and James (J.J.) Skinner, and Trenton Gilbert.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday July 6 , 2024 at 1:00 PM at Hot Springs Showmen’s Association, 710 Whittington Avenue.
