Jerry Collins

Jerry Wilson Collins was born September 3, 1939 and passed away October 3, 2016. Jerry was born in Bauxite AR to Ezra and Francis Collins and is survived by his loving wife Patty Collins of Leslie AR, and daughter Janice Greer of Benton AR, and stepchildren," of which he raised as his own, Vickie Goodwin of Conway AR, Craig Brooks and wife Carla of Shannon hills AR, and Richy Brooks of Benton AR, along with stepchildren, Kevin Lewis and wife Jacquelyn of Leslie AR, Bryan Lewis and wife Desiree of Clinton AR, Amanda Lewis Mangold and husband Daniel of Leslie AR, and Ashley Lewis and Dean Paullin of Alread AR, His loving Grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Lindy Goodwin, Nicholas and Cody Brooks, Jason and Justin Brooks, Brandi McIntyre and Crystal Jones, Rebecca Lewis, Bailey Lewis, Dalton Lewis, Riley McDaniel, Kylie Lewis, Carissa Lewis, Ashlyn Williams, and Haley Stevens, four great Grandchildren and many Nephews and Nieces. All his children and Grandchildren were very dear to his heart. He is also survived by his brothers: Dale Collins and Tom Collins of Clinton AR, Eddie Collins and his wife Mary of Marshall AR, and sisters Judy Trickey and Sue Parsons and husband Tommy Parsons of Benton Ar. Jerry was proceeded in death by brothers: Ronald, Donald, Vurl Benjamin and Ray Collins, one Grandson: Clay Goodwin, and two biological children: Rickie Collins and Terry Collins of Arkansas. Jerry worked for ABF Trucking out of North Little Rock AR. For many years, and also worked in Iraq under dangerous conditions driving supply trucks, and lastly for Marable Oil and Gas. Jerry served a four year term in the Navy and had a passion for traveling and loved to share that passion with his kids and Grandkids. He loved running the back roads in his truck, camping and chilling around a Bonfire with family and friends laughing and joking with everyone. He is very much missed by all of his family and friends, and his loving wife Patty. Burial will be at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Scotland AR. On Saturday October 22 at 11 A.M. with a meal and Bonfire at the Thomas Family Farm in Searcy County , Leslie AR, right after.
