Jeffrey Lowell Bain, of Searcy, went to be with his Heavenly Father on February 20, 2014 at the age of 53. Born in Elwood, IN to Lowell and Joy Bain, he frequently told his children stories of long summer days shooting dragon flies with BB guns in the fields adjacent to his childhood home. He moved with his family to Arkansas and graduated from Batesville High School in 1979. It was at University of Arkansas that he cultivated a lifelong passion for athletics as a Certified Athletic Trainer for the Razorbacks from 1979 to 1983. As a long-time resident of Searcy, his primary legacy is as a skilled Physical Therapist. However, he will also be remembered as a loving father, astute businessman, and passionate Sunday School teacher. He is preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his 4 children: Emily, Parker, Gracie, and Laura Lane; 5 sisters: Carron, Cindy, Christy, Cathy, and Cheryl; 1 brother, Matt; and his father. A memorial service was held at Trinity Baptist Church in Searcy at 2pm on Saturday, February 22, 2014. Memorials donations may be made to the many organizations that Jeff advocated which include Lupus, Breast Cancer, Depression awareness, and Evangelistic Missions.
