Jeanne Zimmerman

On Tuesday May 25th, 2021, Jeanne Zimmerman, age 68, entered eternal life after a heart attack in her Hot Springs apartment. Born in Malvern Arkansas on March 7, 1953 to Clyde and Velma Yarnold (deceased), she was known for her big blue eyes, zest for a good laugh, her worldly culinary taste, and creative flair.

Her life was no fairy tale, but she was a fairy tale woman, with an uncapped imagination, quirky sense of humor, and a wit to match that was one of a kind. She was a gifted cook, seamstress, and crafter with a personality too big to fit in a sewing room. Strong willed, with a sensitive and empathetic soul, there was rarely a soul she would not make a friend. She enjoyed stunning art and fashion, and was deeply moved by music. Some of her favorite musicians included Led Zeppelin and The Beatles. There is no doubt that her steps upon the stairway to heaven full of blueberry fields were decadently adorned with all that is glitter and gold.

Her spirit is carried on by her daughter Brittany Zimmerman; brothers and spouses, Richard and Reta Yarnold of Little Rock AR, Randy and Cindy Yarnold of Wynn AR; sister Karen Yarnold of Kingston-Upon-Thames, England ; four nieces and nephews, as well as many long-time caregivers and friends. The family will be having a small, private celebration of life gathering in her honor.
