Imogene Boone Miller, lifelong resident of Bryant, died August 21, 2015. A member of Bryant First United Methodist Church, she graduated from Bryant High School in 1945, the Baptist School of Nursing in 1950.
She began her career as an R.N. with Dr. B.J. Reeves of Little Rock, eventually going on to work in the Alcoa Dispensary and the Alexander Human Development Center.
She married Holland A. Miller on August 10, 1951, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Her parents, Frank and Maude Boone, predeceased her, along with brothers, Bill C. Boone, Coyce (Leta) Boone; daughter, Leslie Ann Miller. She is survived by her husband, Holland A. Miller; a daughter, Maurey Boone Miller; sister, Betty Adams; and brother, Curtis (Carolann) Boone; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would like to thank Liz Burgh, the staff of Foxridge Retirement and Life Care Community, Gentiva Hospice, and especially, Derrick, Irene, and Sarah.
Visitation will be at Bryant First United Methodist Church, Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 1:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Bryant First United Methodist Church or the charity of one’s choice.
