Harold Layfette Goss

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Harold Goss, who left us on November 21, 2024, at the age of 71. Harold was a devoted husband, father, and loyal friend. He will be remembered for his kindness, wisdom, and the love he freely shared with everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Born on December 2, 1952, in Little Rock, Harold lived a life rich with passion and purpose. He had a deep love for God, and his faith was the foundation of his life. Harold also had a love for reading and learning. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and hosting social gatherings. A skilled cook, he delighted in bringing people together over meals. Known affectionately as “Mr. Always Right,” Harold was always eager to share his knowledge on a wide range of topics, from religion to politics to business.

Above all, Harold cherished his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Sue Goss; sons, Thomas, Matthew, and John Goss; daughters, Heather Pomplun and Monica Connon; his sisters, Cheryl Ball and Mary Bush; and many grandchildren.

A private service will be held at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock on December 2nd at 10:00 a.m. Harold’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. He will be forever missed. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Elite Hospice or to any service organization that supports those in need.
