Gregory Thomas Kaumeyer was born to Thomas Ellsworth Kaumeyer and Fusae Kaumeyer on November 15, 1961 in La Jolla, California. Our dear Greg, Dr. K, daddy, husband, grandfather & friend passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2020. Greg was a long-time resident of Encinitas where he graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 1985. He began practicing chiropractic in 1986. He moved his family to Hot Springs, Arkansas in 2007 where he shortly after opened Kaumeyer Chiropractic Center. Dr. K loved and admired all of his dear patients and the feelings were reciprocated by all who knew him. We will all miss him immensely and remember him always; especially his laugh, his smile and his amazing kind heart. We will be sure to never forget his famous tagline, “Wiggle your toes!”, to distract us during adjustments. He had a way with all who loved him so dearly. Dr. K was a certified medical examiner for The Department of Transportation, a chiropractic physician, and a specialized sports medicine chiropractor.

Greg was predeceased by his mother and father.

Greg’s survivors include his wife of twenty years; Elizabeth Quinn Kaumeyer, his 5 children; daughter Caitlin Vanoni (Ryan) and son Aaron Kaumeyer, all of Carlsbad, California. Daughters Emma Kaumeyer and Aedan Kaumeyer and son Nolan Kaumeyer all of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Greg is also survived by four grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for December 13, 2020 at Entergy Park in Hot Springs, AR at 2:00 PM.  All are invited to attend.
