Garlene Sue McCuen Lewis, died on July 3, 2016, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 75.
Garlene is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jimmy T.; sons, J. Ted, Marcus, and David (Linda); daughter-in-law, Michelle; grandsons, Dave (Courtney), and Jason (Kristen); granddaughter, Ryleigh; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Liam, Britton, and Olivia; and a niece, Sonja McCuen.
She is preceded in death by her parents Garland & Sarah McCuen; brother, Bill McCuen; sons, Timothy & Mike.
Garlene’s life & testimony touched everyone she met. She spent many years as financial secretary for Windsor Park Baptist Church and Ft. Smith Christian School. God called Jim & Garlene to home missions at The Bill Rice Ranch, in Murfreesboro, TN. Upon returning to Arkansas, she served as Business Director for the Secretary of State’s Office. After her retirement, she started Little Rock’s first wedding consultant business, Precious Memories. This entrepreneurship led to the opening of Little Rock’s first drive-thru florist, Floral Express. The last 10 years she has been developing & traveling for Personalized Floral Services.
