Emma Jane Middleton, age 50, of Hot Springs was born to Ofus and Modene (Meny) Whitfield on February 21, 1968 and passed away Monday, July 30, 2018.
Emma, faced with a turn in life that left her disabled and in a wheelchair, came out fighting. Her family describes her as, "A Strong and Independent Women". In spite of, the adversity that she encountered, Emma found joy in the simple things of life, especially her grandchildren. She loved and adored them and looked forward to hearing them call her, "Maw". Emma had a green thumb, especially when it came to growing and nurturing Roses. She also took care of family and friends when they needed a little medical attention. Her first aid kit was always ready, prepared, and available. Emma enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and cooking. She was very proud of her Native American Heritage.
Emma is survived by her husband, Wayne Middleton; two daughters, Stazyanna Whitfield and Danielle Robinson and husband, Adam; two grandchildren, Lainie and Robi; three siblings, Mary, Pete, and Mattie.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial Service will be 5:00 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Power of Prayer Ministry, 192 Jimmy Coleman Road, Jessieville, Arkansas 71949.
