Ellery "Dusty" Johnson

Ellery “Dusty” Johnson, of Little Rock, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2023.  Dusty was born October 9, 1947 in Little Rock to Ben Johnson and Nellie Johnson Miranda.  

He was preceded in death by his father Ben Johnson, mother Nellie Johnson Miranda, step-father Ed Miranda, brother Ben Johnson, sister Patricia Fenton, brother-in-law Rudy Fenton and niece Sharon Knight.  He is survived by his sister Haley Yaniger (Guy), his daughters, Ashley Griffey, Melissa Johnson and Jennifer Johnson, his grandchildren Jill Madison, Joe, Glory Ann, McKenzie and Myles, and his great grandchild, Leigha. 

Dusty loved spending time outdoors and fishing. He cherished playing his guitar and singing karaoke at the VFW post.  He was member of the United States National Guard with six years of service. 

Dusty will be remembered as a son, brother, father, grandfather and friend. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him. 

A Memorial service for Dusty will be announced at a later date.
