Elbert R. “Trae” Miller, III died unexpectedly on January 26, 2023. Trae was born on October 3, 1991, to Elbert Robbins Miller, II and Genece (Caskey) Miller. He was the baby of the family with much older siblings who adored him from the start. Trae earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Arkansas University. His love of engineering and computers started at an early age. By age 3, he could navigate a computer better than any of his family members. As a young child he started taking things apart and rebuilding them just to see how they worked. He also enjoyed working on old cars, hunting, hiking, and spending time with his dogs River and Molly.
Trae left behind his parents; a brother, Steve (Donna) Headley; a sister, Stephanie (David) Freeman; a sister, Lee Miller; nephews Jake (Hannah) Freeman and Jackson Freeman; nieces, Katelyn Headley and Jodi (Allen) Cain; two great-nieces and one great-nephew; and his girlfriend, Ayron Young. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend. He was always there to lend a helping hand and to lift the spirits of anyone who needed him. His quick wit, quirky sense of humor and his smile will be missed by many.
The family will have a private ceremony (date not yet determined) and he will be laid to rest at the Augusta Memorial Park cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Arkansas Children’s Foundation, 1 Children’s Way, Mailing Slot 661, Little Rock, AR 72202.
Arrangements by Arkansas Cremation, 10515 W Markham St, Ste B1, Little Rock, AR 72205.
