Edna Owens

Edna Faye Owens, 68 of El Dorado formerly of Parks, AR

passed away February 24, 2021 at JRMC in Pine Bluff from complications from Covid-19.

Edna was born December 18, 1952 in Mena, AR to

Willard & Jeanease Owens.

She was raised and lived most of her life in Scott County, Arkansas.

She was a Baptist and a member of Boles Freewill Baptist Church.

Before not being able to work, she worked most of her life in the poultry industry.

Edna never met a stranger and loved animals, especially her pugs.

She took a lot of animals into her car when no one else would or wanted them.

She loved to crochet and made many baby Afgans for people just because they ask her to.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her son, Wesley E. Owens of Little Rock, AR;

cousin & caretakers, Kenneth and his wife Beth Robertson of El Dorado, along with their sons, William & Bryan.

a special thank you to all the caregivers and staff at Oak Ridge Health & Rehab, who cared, loved and took the best care of her.

A special memorial service will be held at a later date due to Covid restrictions.
