Dennis Clinton

Dennis Clinton, 64, of Conway died quickly and peacefully, December 31, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born to the late Joann Gibbons and Palmer Clinton, in Millington, Tennessee on December 19, 1953.

He was a United States Navy veteran. Dennis loved the outdoors, whether it was hunting deer, duck, or just floating the Buffalo River. He was an accomplished guitar and mandolin player and singer. Dennis was a member of the band The Great Whiskey Rendezvous, which played throughout the south for several years.

He is survived by his son, Joshua Reed Clinton (Shannon) and two grandchildren, Atticus Ryder Clinton and Maeli Anne Clinton of Sherwood; former wife, Peggy Clinton, of Mabelvale; step-children Bill Taylor (Georgia) and Michele Soerlie, both of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Richard Dean Clinton (Connie) of Louisville, Kentucky, and Billy Dale Clinton of Little Rock; niece Jodie Collins (Scott) of Shelbyville Kentucky; nephew Rickey Clinton (Sarah) of Simpsonville of Kentucky; two great nieces Isabelle Collins and Caroline Clinton; a great nephew Beau Clinton; two aunts Janetta Belle Jones of Birmingham, Alabama, and Dean Porter of Moore, Oklahoma; two uncles, Jimmy Dale Gibbons(Billie) of Searcy Arkansas, and Don Grice (Frances) Fruitland Park, Florida; as well as many cousins and countless friends.



A Memorial Service will be Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 1:00PM at Victory Baptist Church, 10000 Brockington Rd, Sherwood, Arkansas 72120.
