Deborah Gail Pounders

 Deborah Gail Pounders of Ferndale, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024.

She lived at the base of Sally Mountain with the love of her life, that she leaves behind, husband Darrell Pounders. She also leaves behind a son Aaron Eldon Ellington, and two grandchildren, Parker and Emma Ellington.

 Deborah was proceeded in death by her mother, Ethel G. Grimmett and father Aaron D Grimmett, sisters, Ethel Joyce Maxwell, Mary Ellen James, and brothers, Donald Grimmett and Roy Grimmett. She is survived by her sister. Eldeen Elizabeth Osban.

Deborah was born on June 29, 1951. She was raised on Grimmett Lane in Ferndale. Arkansas. She graduated from Joe T. Robinson High School and went on to graduate with a degree in Medical Chemistry at UALR. Deborah went on to work in the hospital lab at St. Vincent’s Hospital and retired from sales in 2015. She will be remembered most by her incredible skills in the kitchen where she was an outstanding chef , and, culinary genius. She loved fishing, helping needy people, entertaining guests, and feeding the forest animals from her back porch.

Thank you, Mama for a lifetime of love. You will be missed dearly, until we see you again in heaven.

 There will be a celebration of life held at Smyrna Full Gospel Bible Church in Paron, AR on December 28, 2024 at 1 PM
