Charles Terry Logan, 69, resident of Little Rock, died July 2, 2021 after a recurrence of brain cancer. Terry was born on February 12, 1952 to Lacy Louise (Baumeister) Logan and Robert Malcolm Logan. He grew up with older sister Sally in Hillcrest and attended Holy Souls School, Catholic High School for Boys, and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Terry married Mary (Hayden) Logan and had two daughters, Katie and Rachel. He built his career as manager and salesman at Custom Audio and Video, a perfect fit for his love of music and the science of sound. Terry enjoyed taking care of his cars, being outside in the summertime, organizing, and reading. Terry was quick with one liners, granting nicknames, and showing quiet care to others. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his independence, and his warmth.
Terry is preceded in death by his mother Lacy and father Bob. He is survived by his longtime partner Vicki Hedstrom, daughters Kathleen Logan Richardson and Rachel Logan Hritz (Joey), and grandchildren Louisa, James, and Jack, all of Little Rock. He is also survived by his sister Sally Ann Logan and niece Melissa Moon, both of Fayetteville.
The family wishes to thank the Arkansas Hospice inpatient team for their incredible skill and support during this time.
Terry's memorial service will be held at the Catholic High chapel on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 11:00 am.
A reception will immediately follow at his daughter Katie's home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to daughter Rachel's ESL classroom at donorschoose.org/mrs.hritz.
