Carlton Lee Womack was born on May 1, 1962 to Alvin L. Wilson and Carolyn J. Flurry in Little Rock, Arkansas. He attended North Little Rock School District, where he graduated from Ole Main High School in 1980. He attended Shorter College and worked several jobs. For many years he worked in construction while living in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He returned to Little Rock where he worked as a line cook for two restaurants.
Carlton accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age. He was a “free spirited person,” he never met a stranger. He loved music and food. Carlton departed this life on April 5, 2019. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Willie B. Womack, father Alvin L. Wilson, and nephew Maurice Womack.
He leaves to cherish his memory his twin sister Carla Beasley of Little Rock; mother Carolyn Ridley of Bryant, Arkansas; Lois Hunter (Mama Lois) of North Little Rock, Arkansas; aunt Vendetta Womack of Little Rock; brothers, Alan Wilson of Rancho Cucamonga, California, Joseph “Chris” Wilson (Beth) of Tacoma, Washington, and Anthony Wilson (Karen) of Arlington, Texas; sisters Cheryl Esaw of Little Rock, Lisa Powell of Little Rock, Merri “Tina” Baker (Sammy) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Cindy Daigre of Sacramento, California; nieces Shantelia Wilson of Arlington, Texas, Onadia Howard of Little Rock, Jessica Esaw of Little Rock, Reggie Powell of Little Rock, Addison Baker of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Matthew Powel of Little Rock, Bethankie Beasley of Little Rock, Samaria Baker of Tulsa, Sydney Wilson of Flagstaff, Arizona, Kiah Wilson of Tacoma Washington; great-nephew Isaiah Lackey; great-nieces Onyla Cooper and Khloe Armstrong; and a host of cousins, family, and friends.
Celebration of life will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Col. Glenn Church of Christ, 7001 Col. Glenn Road in Little Rock.
