Carl Edward Hunter, of Denver, Colorado, formerly of Little Rock, passed on August 6, 2015, surrounded by his family and friends. Carl Hunter passed due to his battle with Liver Cancer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Everett Hunter, Mary Ann Troy- Hunter; and his older siblings, Clarence Everett Hunter Jr., and Mary Frances Hunter-Sullivan.

He is survived by his wife, of 34 years, Johnette Lynn Edwards- Hunter; his brothers James, Calvin, and Charles Hunter;his sister, Frances; his sons, Chad Edward Hunter, and Cody Eli Hunter (Kayleigh).
He is also survived by the twinkle of his eye, granddaughter Lillian Michelle Hunter, born on his birthday in 2012, she brought a smile on his face every time she came in the room. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, who will miss him dearly.

Carl Hunter owned, and operated, his own business from1984-1998, then he worked for his wife in a family business where he became an industry leader in the excavation and foundation field.
He was like many of his fellow Arkansans, and loved horse racing, and trout fishing in many of Arkansas’ treasured streams.
He also enjoyed traveling, he had made many trips to different parts of the United States, and multiple trips to Europe. His legacy is one that is immeasurable, but his passing is one that is felt by all he met.
A Celebration of Llife will be held in Little Rock, Arkansas at 10 a.m., on September 5, 2015, at Hillcrest Chapel located at 4401 Woodlawn Drive, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Services entrusted to Arkansas Cremation. Guests may register at www.ArkansasCremation.com.
