Byron Lynn Dickinson, 62, of Lead Hill, Arkansas, passed away December 6, 2015. He was born December 22, 1952, in Blytheville, Arkansas.
Following graduation from DeWitt High School in 1971, he continued his education receiving a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Arkansas in 1975; Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling from ASU in 1984; Education Specialist from ASU in 1986, and a Doctorate of Psychology from Forest Institute in Springfield, MO in 1996.
Byron is survived by his daughter, Brook Arlitt; granddaughters, Mason and Maddie of Belton, TX; son, Matthew Dickinson of Waco, TX; brother, Charles (Sharon) Dickinson of Benton, AR; sister, Beth (Danny) Goodwin of DeWitt, AR; sister-in-law, Jeanette Dickinson of Little Rock, AR; soul-mate, Tawnya Weaver and her daughter, Torrie; a host of nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends who loved him dearly.
Byron is preceded in death by his parents, Reverend John and Jewel Dickinson; daughter, Jessica; son, Drew Dickinson; and brother, Gerald Dickinson.
A celebration in honor of his life will be held at 1:00 p.m., on December 19, 2015, at the Lead Hill, Arkansas Legion Post. Memorials may be made to: The Family Home
