Born in 1971, Brent, was a man whose heart was as vast and open as the country skies he loved so much. At 53, he left us far too soon, but not without leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and unforgettable memories.
Brent loved Jesus more than anything, and his faith was the cornerstone of his life. He cherished his family deeply, always putting them first and showing his love through endless acts of kindness, support, and laughter. Whether he was riding his motorcycle down open roads, fishing at dawn, hunting in the woods, or cracking jokes that left everyone in stitches, he found joy in every moment and shared that joy with everyone around him.
A proud Papaw to Aiden Harvey, Brysen Parker, Aaliyah Parker, and his other treasured grandchildren through his soulmate, Stephanie Scott, he adored his family with all his heart. He was a devoted father to Morgan Ramey, a loving brother to Shanna Bitely, brother-in-law to Lonnie Czak, and a father-in-law to Duane Ramey and Sean Harvey. He had three bonus kids that he stepped up to be a father figure to, Mattea Gill, Justin Gill, and Alanna Gill. His best friend of over 40 years, Jennifer Swanson, could attest to his unwavering loyalty and his rare ability to make everyone feel seen and valued.
He had a passion for life that was evident in everything he did. He loved collecting knives and guns, attending concerts, and riding his motorcycle on long, open roads, always chasing freedom and adventure. With his infectious laugh and playful pranks, he brought light into every room and left a mark on everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.
Brent was a fighter. He beat cancer with courage and faith, proving to us all what true resilience looks like. His sudden passing has left a void in our hearts, but his love and legacy will continue to guide us.
He lived a remarkable life, his love for Jesus, and the joy he brought to everyone he met. We hope you continue to celebrate in his memory - a man who was truly one of a kind, a man who never hesitated to give the shirt off his back, share his laughter, or remind us all of what matters most in life: faith, family, and love. Thank you for helping us honor his memory. He will live on in our hearts, our stories, and the love that binds us together.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Never forgotten.
