Brandon James Gray, 36, a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force, passed away April 1, 2023. The son of Kenneth Jeron Gray and Rhonda Lynn Hudspeth, Brandon was born March 17, 1987. He grew up in Central Arkansas and graduated from Vilonia High School in 2005. At the age of 19, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He valued this service highly and attained the rank of SSgt. As part of this service, he completed two tours in Iraq, receiving an Air Force Achievment Medal and a Iraq Service Medal. After leaving active duty, he joined the Texas Air National Guard while pursuing a career in Cybersecurity. He enjoyed hiking, scuba diving, playing guitar, fishing, and anything techy. He was an avid reader and collector of books, leading him to a love of writing short stories. He also volunteered his time at animal shelters. Brandon is survived by his father Kenneth Jeron Gray,(Barb) currently living in Little Canada, Minnesota. His mother Rhonda Lynn Hudspeth (J.D.) of Denton, TX, brother Christopher Gray (Christy), niece Victoria, nephew Tucker of Haslet, TX and sister Emilee Hudspeth of Little Rock. He is also survived by grandmother Dorothy Gray of Little Rock, Uncle Jimmy Williams (Sharon) of Yellville, Aunt Windy Stryker (Chris) from Denver, CO and leaves behind six cousins, numerous friends and extended family. A Celebration of Brandon's life will be held Saturday April 8th from 2-4 PM at Dave's Place 210 Center St Little Rock, AR. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
