Bonnie Kierstyn

Bonnie R. Kierstyn was born March 31, 1940 and was taken to her heavenly home on November 7, 2021. Bonnie owned and ran a supper club in Racine, WI prior to moving to Hot Springs Village, AR. She was a charter member of Community of Joy Lutheran church and served for many years on church council and numerous committees. Bonnie was a life member in the VFW auxiliary, serving as president for two terms along with many other offices.

Bonnie was the eldest child of Leo and Pearl Gister. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Walter, sisters Barbara Prince, Sandy Hutson, Marie Hove and brothers, Leo Gister III and Ronald Gister. She is survived by sisters Denise (Kermit) Barker, Shelley Sweers and brothers Darrell (Jeri) Gister and Jeff (Sue) Gister.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 30 at 11:00am at Community of Joy Church, 110 Balboa Road. Memorials may be made to Cancer Research or Community of Joy Love Lunches.
