Billy Joe Wilson

Born in Arkadelphia, AR in 1933, Billy Joe Wilson is a Korean War Veteran who served 4 years in the US Navy. He settled in Little Rock and worked in aircraft avionics at Starnes Aviation and later managed the avionics division of Central Flying Service. Highly reputable, he opened his own business, Skytravel Avionics, at Little Rock Airport (LIT). He grew Skytravel's employees to 52 and its services to include custom aircraft interiors for Falcon Jet. Bill was known and loved by many.  He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Coe, and their two sons, William Mark and James Michael, three grandchildren; Stephen Wilson, Cole Wilson and Dion Wilson and two great grandsons, Levi and Samuel. Memorial service will be held at Petit Jean First Baptist Church, 37 Jones Lane, Morrilton, AR, Feb 24 at 2pm
