Betty Jannette (Parker) Vaughter

Betty Jannette (Jan) Vaughter, age 75 of Alexander, AR received her wings and quietly flew from her Earthly home to Heaven on Saturday, December 28, 2024. She was born March 31, 1949 in Little Rock, the daughter of the late John and Betty Parker. Jan was a 1967 graduate of Little Rock Hall High School and a member of Plainview Baptist Church in Little Rock.

Besides being an excellent homemaker, wife, and mother, Jan enjoyed painting, growing and arranging flowers, and all kinds of needle crafts.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Paul Vaughter, sons Andrew (Cathy) Vaughter and Philip Vaughter, sister Suzy Parker, and sisters-in-law Stella Wadley and Tena Harris.

The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to everyone at Gentiva Hospice and Pleasant Hill Daycare for all their wonderful care and support.
