Betty Maxine Capel Narramore received ultimate healing on March 9th, 2016, when our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ took her back into his arms. Eighty-five beautifully fulfilled years ended after enduring Alzheimer's disease for the last fifteen of these. Betty was born on January 14, 1931 to Odric and Dovie Capel she was saved by God's grace as a teenager and exemplified Christ's love her entire life. In 1950, she married the love of her life, William Patt Narramore, who was as dedicated to the railroad as she was to being an excellent homemaker, fostering children and eventually raising two adopted children of their own. They retired in Mtn. View, Arkansas, where she enjoyed her church, painting and continued in her nurturing role as she cared for her mother until her death.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her daughter, Laura Horton, who by her mother's selfless example, cared for her during the difficult years of her disease; She is also survived by her son, Kelly Gene; two grandchildren, Alicia Horton and Hunter Narramore; as well as a precious great grandchild, Hadley Mae, from Hunter and Cyndie Luna.
A living testimony for Jesus, she loved God above all else and others above herself, her silenced voice now praising our Lord.
All who were privileged to have been touched by this beautiful life are welcomed to attend a Graveside Celebration of her life on earth and her eternal new life with her Heavenly Father that will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2016, at 2 p.m., at Forrest Lawn Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's Arkansas would be appreciated. Thanks to their encouragement and support, the challenges of this disease were made easier to overcome.
