Benjamin F. Gaston, Sr., age 56, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 at his home in Glenwood, Arkansas following an illness.
He was born in Sacramento, California on June 1, 1961 and raised in central Arkansas by his parents, Jack Dewayne Gaston and Helen May Bennefield. Benjamin was a Master Farm Equipment Mechanic and Shop Foreman for Greeson Kawasaki in Hot Springs. In his prime, he was an avid camper and adventurer.
Benjamin leaves behind his wife of 34 years, Janet Darlene (Shuffield) Gaston; his three children, Benjamin and Tiffany Gaston, Jamie and Sean Dixon, Rendi and Sean Clary; grandchildren, Madeline, Padraig, and Serenity; siblings, Lessie Thurlow, David Treat, John Gaston, Monte Gaston, Billy Jack Gaston, Little Milly Gaston, Little John Gaston, Rhonda Davis, Anita Peiffer and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Jackson Gaston, Jr.
A Potluck Memorial Gathering of friends and family will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, June 9, 2018 at his home, 600 Old Mt. Tabor Road, Glenwood, Arkansas 71943.
