Barbara Ann Robinson, 58, passed peacefully while surrounded by her family on October 9, 2023. She was born on December 14, 1964 in Fayetteville, AR to Frances Ellen Fisher Honeycutt of Tolono, IL and Thomas “Tom” Tipton Millard III of Harrison, AR.
She passionately loved helping others in any way she could. Barbara loved big and anyone who was lucky enough to get a Barbara hug knows they had a hug they could hold onto forever. She had a servant's heart and dedicated her life to contributing to her community and people around the world. Locally, Barbara served and ultimately co-led the Under the Bridge Ministry at St. James UMC. She assisted with multiple local Habitat for Humanity projects, while also being a 30+ year blood donor and member of several Optimist Clubs. Internationally, she traveled on five medical and construction mission trips. During these trips, Barbara served communities in Trinidad & Tobago, and a part of her heart will always live on with the people and families she loved in Guatemala.
Barbara spent years being the loudest cheerleader for her children. Her children remember her spending numerous hours rehearsing for dance and choir recitals and cheering for her son and husband at baseball diamonds all over the country. In her spare time, Barbara enjoyed being outdoors. She could be found relaxing in her hammock, camping, or being at the river, lake, beach, mountainside, or anywhere she could find a perfect spot for a sunrise or sunset.
Barbara was proceeded in death by her parents, Frances and Tom, and her godmother and namesake, Barbara Ann Carrithers. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 30 years, Bryan Robinson of Little Rock, her children and two greatest joys, Taylor Robinson of Bentonville, AR and Tipton Robinson of Farmington, AR, as well as numerous family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 21, 2023 at St. James United Methodist Church, 321 Pleasant Valley Drive in Little Rock, at 11AM. Barbara would want everyone to dress for the Celebration in colorful, festive attire. Following the service, the church Labyrinth will be open. Barbara's family will be continuing the Celebration by hosting family and friends at Murray Park Pavilion 7 at 3PM.
In Lieu of Flowers, please consider a donation in Barbara’s Honor to the St. James UMC – Guatemala Mission Fund.
