Alice Heifner

Alice Faye Heifner, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 72, surrounded by her family. 

Alice spent her life taking care of her children and then grandchildren. Although she could be a stern woman, her love for her family was shown through her cooking, keeping all of the grandchildren every summer when school was out, and hosting family holidays.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rachel Murray; father and mother, Marie and Charles (Pete) Nichols; and sisters, Lillian Skinner, Ruby Davis, and Betty Merritt. 

She is survived by her husband, Richard Heifner, who diligently cared for her in her last years; daughters, Cheryl Heifner and Sheila Wilkinson; son, Richard (Beno) Heifner; brothers, Charles and Danny Nichols; sisters, Carolyn Newsom and Shirley Warner; grandchildren, Bud Davis, Zach Davis, Brandy Harvey, Britney Pettit, Megan McGuffey, Samantha Strom and Tyler Heifner; great grandchildren, Riley Pettit, Hannah Pettit, Olivia Strom, Piper McGuffey, Tynleigh Strom and Easton Strom; and great, great grandchild, Emerson Miles.

We are all grateful to have had her in our lives and look forward to the day when we can meet again.

In keeping with her wishes, no formal funeral service will be held.
