Alice Marie (Hathcock) McKa

Alice Marie Hathcock McKa was born January 13,1953 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and departed from this life on January 1st, 2025 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She went peacefully with the love of her life James Cody McKa, by her side. They celebrated 56 years of Marriage on December 29th.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawson Hathcock and Pearl Alice Cooper Hathcock, her brother, Johnny Wayne Hathcock as well as 2 infant daughters, Tammy Marie McKa and Lisa Ann McKa. Alice is survived by her son, James David Mcka, daughter in law, Dana Sue Hulsey McKa and honorary daughter Diana Lynn Hulsey - all of Hot Springs, Arkansas, her daughter, Carrie Chassee McKa Edmiston and son in law, Jeremiah Israel Edmiston of Wichita, Kansas. Alice was also a grandmother to 7 grandchildren - Mary Catherine Mcka and Pamela Lynn Mcka of Hot Springs, Arkansas as well as Rebecca Aranda, Cynthia Paige Edmiston Williams (Joe), Chloe Anastasia Edmiston, Sophia Ireland Edmiston and Elijah Rhys-Israel Edmiston all of Wichita, Kansas and 2 great grandchildren - Chyanne Marie Williams and Isabella Lynn Hulsey. Alice is also survived by her 3 brothers and 1 sister -  William Hathcock, Ben Hathcock, Gerald Hathcock and Cindy Sims, as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Alice was known for her love of watching her soap operas Days of Our Lives, as well as Price Is Right, Wheel of Fortune, Press Your Luck, Survivor and many others. Alice also had a love for Bingo, Dominoes, Rummy, fishing and camping. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and with her family. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
