Alberta Mangold departed from this life on October 2, 2015 in Little Rock, AR after a long battle since her triple bypass surgery on May 18th. She was born in Galena, KS on November 9, 1947 to Henry Christian Mangold and Eula Emma Glenn. She will be joining her parents, a brother and three sisters along with others who have been a part of her life. She will be remembered by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her life will continue through the memories that her loved ones have of her.
Alberta was a fighter and never gave up until she had no choice to. She enjoyed doing word find searches, watching crime drama shows, and spending time with her two youngest children – Joy Hall and Daniel Mangold (wife - Amanda Lewis), her grandchildren – Brittany, Courtney, Nathan and Jason, and her great-granddaughter Lindsey.
Her remains will be cremated and she will finally get her wish of coming home afterward. A memorial service for family and friends might be scheduled at a later date.
Along with condolences, memorials can be sent to Simmons Bank to the Alberta Mangold Memorial Fund or through the gofundme.com account set up in her memory. Services entrusted to Arkansas Cremation. Guests may register at www.arkansascremation.com.
