William Davis Sydnor III, 70, of Pine Bluff, died June 4, 2017. He was born on December 31, 1946 in Texas to William and Ann (Beadle) Sydnor. He attended school in Bakersfield, California, where he enjoyed playing the bassoon. He enjoyed watching western movies and loved music.
Afterward graduation, he joined the US Army during the Vietnam War. He drifted after illness forced him from active duty. He eventually meet and worked for TC Kelly, who ran a homeless shelter in California and later on in St. Louis. After Mr. Kelly’s death, the remaining three veterans, including Mr. Sydnor, moved to Little Rock where he remained until the time of his passing. During this time he lovingly cared for by the Whiteside-Sims family.
A private inurnment was held at Arkansas State Veteran’s Cemetery.
