Terry Reynolds

TERRY GLEN REYNOLDS, 68, passed away on January 2, 2018, at the VA Hospital in Little Rock, AR. His family wishes to thank all medical and support staff and employees of the VA who touched our lives and gave us so much during the last three years.
Terry was born on January 9, 1949 to Virgil Reynolds and Alta Louise (Rogers) Reynolds of Hot Springs. He attended high school in Hot Springs, and was a graduate of Henderson State University, with a BSBA in accounting and business.
He leaves behind his wife of fourteen years, Teresa Lynn (Thorn) Reynolds; his son, Justin Wade Reynolds (Dana) and grandchildren Tyler, Benjamin, and Grady; stepson, Stuart Aaron Mosley (Julie) and grandchildren Xavier, Chase, Erin, Allen, and Aiden; his brother, Dennis Virgil Reynolds, and sister Deborah McCrory (Phillip). Terry was proud to be called 'Pawpaw’.
Terry and Teresa married in 2003 on a Friday the 13th, and made the most of it by celebrating every Friday the 13th thereafter.
Terry served in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1971. He served in Vietnam and Korea. His last duty assignment was on the USS Niagara Falls. While serving, he received the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. He was recently made very proud to see his oldest grandson, Xavier Mosley, begin his career in the United States Navy as well.
Terry spent the last fifteen years of his working life affiliated with Crye-Leike Realtors in Little Rock, and for a few years, worked as a team with his wife, Teresa. In his earlier career, Terry served for ten years as Operations Director and Vice President of Operations for Service Professionals, a multi-state facilities management company. For six years, he was owner and President of Ace Home Improvement, Inc., a full-service residential maintenance company. And for eleven years, Terry served as chief accountant and assistant treasurer of the Hot Springs Village Property Owners Association.
Terry loved to deer and turkey hunt. He was a member and President of the Whitetail Hunting Club for several years. He grew up around Oaklawn in Hot Springs, and loved to follow the horse races. He was a true outdoorsman.
To honor his wishes for a simple farewell and celebration of life, a memorial visitation will be held from 1:30-3:30 pm Monday, January 22, 2018 at Trapnall Hall, 423 East Capital in Little Rock.
