Sr. Larry Adams

Larry C. Adams Sr., age 70 passed away March 22, 2013 at 8:30am at the John McClellan Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, AR. He was born to Howard Adams and Emma Adams-Stambaugh on March 20, 1943 in Paris, TX. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Camden, AR. Larry served in the U.S. Navy 1960-1962 and retired from the International Paper in Camden. Larry loved racing cars, motorcycles and NASCAR. He is survived by his wife Betty, two sons, Larry C. Adams Jr. and his wife Laurel Adams of Cabot, AR and Tim Curfman of Honolulu, HI. ; two step daughters , Linda Furgerson of Crossett, AR and Dana Hurst and her husband Keith Hurst of Fayetteville, AR,; five grandchildren, David Adams of Dallas, TX, Hailey and Lane Furgerson of Crossett, AR and Hannah and Hayden Hurst of Fayetteville, AR; a brother, Niles Adams of Little Rock, AR and a sister Kathy Nail of Omaha, NE.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Karen Adams and two brothers, Mike and Richard Adams. A memorial service will be held for the family with Bro. Lyle Hern officiating.
