Shirley Flynn

Shirley Rice Flynn of Benton, AR passed away December 22, 2019 at Baptist Hospital.  She won her battle with chronic lung disease after a valiant fight.

Shirley retired from the State of Arkansas after many years.  She was a faithful member of United Missionary Baptist Church for 45 years.  Shirley loved her Church, teaching Bible School and especially singing gospel songs.

She leave to cherish her memories her daughter, Cindy Marks of the home; grandchildren, Christy Halbrook of Jacksonville, AR, Terry Hopping of Rogers, AR and Amber Marks of Benton, AR; siblings Wanda Rice of East End, Dwanna (Sonny) Black of Little Rock, Euvon (Scott) Sumbles of East End, Gail (Ann) Rice of Hensley, AR and Gary Rice of North Little Rock.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband Raynond Flyn; sons, Bruce and Michael Flynn; granddaughter, Ashley Flynn; parents, Walter (Paw Paw) and Voneda (Granny) Rice and two brothers, Walter Wayne and Glen Rice.
