Sammy Rogers

Sammy W. Rogers, age 67, of North Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 after a lengthy illness. He was born in North Little Rock on March 8, 1950 to the late R.E and Corinne Rogers. He was a graduate of both North Little Rock High School and University of Central Arkansas and was an U.S. Marine Corp Veteran. Sammy was most proud of his time spent in his younger years competing in Motocross and was an AMA Pro Motocross Champion. After retiring from the United States Postal Service, he became an entrepreneur, and then retired to his North Little Rock home.

Survivors include his son, Brent Rogers, brother, R.E. Rogers and wife, Jane, and grandchildren, Eric and Jill Rogers all of Little Rock.
