Lori Jackson

Lori Anne Jackson, 41 of Conway, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on January 1st, 2014. She was born October 29th, 1972 in Pine Bluff to Jimmy and the late Barbara Jackson. Lori was reared and educated in Pine Bluff graduating High School in 1992. After graduation she worked at Jenkins Work Shop before moving to Conway in 2004. There she lived in the Independence House and was employed by Profiles Workshop. She enjoyed watching WWE, Survivor, and Big Brother. Lori loved life and was friend to everyone. She was a World Champion Bocce Ball player in the Special Olympics held in Raleigh, NC in 1999. She was very proud of the numerous amounts of Gold Medals she won throughout the years. Lori was preceded in death by her mother in 2008, Grandmother Clotene Shackleford, Grandparents Ralph and Connie Burks, and her favorite pet Footsie. She is survived by her Dad and Step-mom Jackie of Pine Bluff, her sister Debra and husband James Frederick of Corinth, Texas; Uncle Bobby and wife Cindy Jackson of Etoile, Texas; and Uncle Willard and wife Velma Burks of Wynne, AR. Step siblings include Raydn and Suzanne Bowling and son Bryson of Marshall, Oklahoma; Rindi Bowling and twins Lily and Lindy; and Ramsi Bowling and son Kash, all of Allen, Texas. She will also be truly missed by her house parents, Jim and Clara Anderson, best friend Andrea Holmes of Conway, AR., special friends Ricky, Teresa, and Josh James; and Yolanda Whitelow all of Pine Bluff; along with other numerous relatives and friends. A celebration for Lori is scheduled for Friday, 2:00 p.m., January 10th, 2014 at the Profiles Enrichment Center located at 615 E. Robins St., Conway, AR. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, 1 Children’s Way, Little Rock, AR 72204.
