Lilly Piker Wallace, 70, of Bald Knob, passed away March 30, 2015 at St. Vincent’s Infirmary in Little Rock. She was born on May 19, 1944 to the late Orlan Douglas and Mary Louise VanPelt Piker. She was happily married to Aubrey “Gene” Wallace, her soul mate for 48 years.
“Miss Lilly” was a Revenue Agent with the State Department Finance Administration for 33 years. She was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church where she actively participated in numerous ministries. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Piker and Herbert Piker of Indiana.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Anneda Wallace-Simms (Scott) of Columbia, SC and a son William E. Wallace (Lisa) of Maumelle, six grandchildren Adam, Grant and Parker Lawrence of Maumelle, Kerry and Greg Simms of Tampa, FL and William Simms of Columbia, SC.
She is also survived by one brother, Douglas Piker (Rachel) of Fountain Hill and six sisters, Viola Cullum (Lloyd) of Bald Knob, Wilma Powell (Richard) of Forrest City, Clara Boatman (Joe) of Bradford, Loretta Holland of Bradford, Kathy Jones (Rick) of Strawberry, Rhonda Pfifer (Larry) of Florida, one sister-in-law, Pat Piker of Indiana and numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Central Baptist Church of Bald Knob at 3pm on Saturday, April 4, 2015. The family will be receiving visitors at the church at 2pm. Online Guestbook:
