Kenneth Carol Skelton, age 84, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away June 28, 2021. He was born in Vilonia and raised in Benton, AR.
He married Dee Skelton who he lovingly referred to as his sweetie pie. It was love at first sight and they were married 21 days later. Dee will tell you she knew he was the one when he walked in and a halo was silhouetting his body. He said God sent him an angel to save him. In their 47 years of marriage, Ken and Dee enjoyed traveling, golfing, fishing, and visiting family.
Anyone who knew Ken knew he enjoyed painting and left enough paintings to fill a gallery. He also loved to sing and was a United States Veteran of both the Army and Air Force.
Ken was preceded in death by his father, Herschel Skelton, mother Avis Moore, step-father Emmett Moore, sisters Linda Moore and Ramona Davenport, children Charlotte Skelton, Ronnie Skelton, David Skelton.
In addition to his wife Dee Skelton, he is survived by, brother Richard Moore, children Donna Remphrey, Kasey Wilson, and Jason Wilson, and a slew of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 am, Friday, July 2, 2021 at New Life Missionary Baptist Church, 126 West Drive, Benton, Arkansas 72015.
