John Moseley

JOHN DAVID MOSELEY, 59, went to be with the Lord, Friday, November 11, 2016 at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, AR after a long illness. David was born October 8, 1957 and at the age of two was adopted by Richard R. Moseley and Carolyn Spooner Moseley. He is survived by his sister, Brenda Moseley Welch, her husband, Scott Welch, and their children Casey, Sam and Seth Welch, all of Little Rock, AR and his Aunts Kay Spooner Patterson, Sue Spooner Jacobs and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard R. Moseley and Carolyn Spooner Moseley. David graduated from El Dorado High School in 1976. He then attended the University of AR in Fayetteville where he received his Masters Degree in English and finished two years of Law School. As a Graduate Student, David taught Freshman English also at the U of A. David was a writer, artist and teacher. He had a kind heart, a great sense of humor and was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be performed by Reverend Tony Griffin at Highland Valley United Methodist Church, 15524 Chenal Parkway in Little Rock, AR on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 1:00 pm.
