Etta Jean Chambless, 70, of Bauxite, Arkansas died Thursday, January 29, 2015.
She was born in Houston, Texas on September 4, 1944 to Bowman C. and Etta Mae (Burnett) Logan. She moved to Little Rock and worked as a nurse at Baptist Health. Jean loved being with her family, dancing and doing crossword puzzles. She had an open, loving heart and was known as “mom” to so many more than her own four children. All were welcome in her home.
Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Royce Glen Chambless and son, Richard Glen Chambless.
She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Wilson and husband, Farrell of Alexander; son Randy Chambless of Bauxite; daughter, Regina Dennis and husband, Dr. Richard Dennis of Cammack Village; brother, Carol Logan; sister, Elouise Glover; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins.
