Donald Bratcher

Donald Dewayne Bratcher, 70, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Monday, February 6, 2023, in complete contentment having lived a joyful and fulfilling life. He was born April 6,1952, to Carl Edwin (Jr) and Ruth Anne Bratcher in Little Rock. Don had a great love and trust for the Lord Jesus Christ and was a faithful member of Second Presbyterian Church. He was a Hall High and U of A graduate witha bachelor’s degree in Accounting. During his career he was a CPA for Russell Brown Co, Financial Controller for McClelland Geotechnical Engineers in Saudi Arabia, Accounting Director for USAA Life Insurance Co, and Financial Examiner for several state regulatory insurance departments in Delaware and Arkansas. Don loved studying the Bible and particularly with Bible Study Fellowship for nine years.

He was enthusiastic about sports and a big fan of the Razorbacks and the Miami Dolphins. He also loved to play golf. Don is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Carl Edwin ‘Sonny’ Bratcher Jr II and Gary Gene ‘River’ Bratcher. A thank you to St. Vincent Hospital and Hospice Comfort Care Center on Bowman Rd for their excellent care during his illness. Also, a special thanks to his many friends for their prayers and support. A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb 11 in the chapel of 2nd Presbyterian Church in Little Rock.
