Dianna Kaye Nash, 74, of Maumelle, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 1, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday. October 17, 2017 at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Ryan Hilton, and is survived by her daughter, Gabrielle Amanda Ann Nash, of Dallas, Texas, her mother, Jean H. Hall, of Melbourne, Arkansas, her brother, Dennis Gene Hall, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and her extended family in Arkansas including cousins, Connie Jackson and Shirley Gaston.
Dianna Kaye was a kind and loving person who lived by Christ's command to "love others as you love yourself". She could never turn away in the face of another person's need and she would remind us all of Christ's admonition, "when you have done it for these, you have done it for me." Her daughter Gabrielle was always her closest friend and they mirrored each other's outlook on life and the life to come. In her daughter's words
:
My Mom was the best Mom I could of ever been blessed with. She did everything for me, and my friends without asking or hesitation. She was just there for us. She had the kindest Soul. I have been going through this for a year, rehabs, nursing homes, back and forth to the hospital... Everything I could think of to repay her what she has done for me. I just want her to have a memorial service that shows our love and then a celebration of her life with our loved ones and friends that I know she deserves. I miss her so.
Dianna Kaye is at peace now, with no struggles, sorrows, or pain. She now knows the joy of "absent from the body, present with the Lord."
Online condolences are welcomed and will be treasured by the family.
