Cora Jean O'Dell Quinn of Little Rock died May 31, 2021. She was 91.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Neale Quinn, her sister and brothers Colleen Carter (Jan), Lloyd O'Dell (Gloria), Donald O'Dell (Inee) and her beloved parents Lloyd Clay O'Dell and Florence Rebecca O'Dell.
She is survived by her daughter Kelly Quinn of Little Rock and numerous nieces and nephews. She loved them all dearly. Her nieces and nephews called her Aunt Jeanie.
Jeanie had a big heart which led her "adopt” additional loved ones. She adored her adopted family as if they were her own children and siblings. She was loved by many.
Jeanie's happiest times were when she was with family enjoying her home-cooked meals, walking dogs in the park, bird watching and admiring flowers and trees everywhere she went. She and Neale loved being in nature and they spent many happy hours hiking in Arkansas' state parks and wilderness areas. They also traveled the United States and Canada in their RV. They said that was among the best times of their lives.
She never missed a televised Razorback football or basketball game. She followed all Hog sports in the newspaper.
Grand dog Pedro Quinn deserves a special mention. He kept her company all day, every day and kept a smile on her face with his affection.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice and Out of the Woods Animal Rescue.
