Carolyn McPherson

Carolyn Frances McPherson, age 94, passed away at Saline Memorial in Benton on February 20, 2022.  She had been living at Heartland Long-term Care in Benton.

Carolyn was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on January 5, 1928, to Wilbur A. and Carrie Louise Bailey. She is also preceded in death by sister Louise Kerby and brothers, Wilbur Bailey, Jr. and James Bailey.

Carolyn is survived by a son, Robert Michael Bailey, and grandson, Michael Bailey. She is also survived by niece, Kay Smith and her husband Robert Smith and their children Pam and Scott. Other nieces are Joellen Sapp and Sandy McMillan of California and Vicki Morgan of Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Close friends and helpers for Carolyn were Sharon Dewey and Jennifer Monterola.

Carolyn was a graduate of Mount St. Mary’s Academy in Little Rock, Arkansas. Her last job before retiring was in the office of Friday, Eldridge and Clark.
