Carol Miller

April 14, 1953 — May 13, 2021

Carol was called home at 4:06pm on Thursday, May 13th , 2021 on the Feast of Our Lady of

Fatima, of which she was deeply devoted. She bravely fought breast cancer for 7 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oswald Miller Jr. and Bertha McNulty, brother Bob

Edd Miller, and sister Maryann Schulke.

All of her children were her favorite (despite what they each might have you believe). She is

survived by her sister Dorothy Dyer of Dubuque, IA, children Brennan Maxim (Clay), Nicholas

Ables (Kristin), and Anna Ables. Grandchildren Nathan, Joseph, Mary, Patrick, Jacob, Rylee,

Mason, Siena, and Beckett, plus many beloved nieces and nephews.

Carol was employed by KATV Channel 7 for 34 years as their Creative Services Director until

2008. She then went to work for American Greetings for 10 years, and, her favorite, Secretary

of Our Lady of Good Counsel for 8 years.

The Visitation and Rosary will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel on Sunday, May 23rd from

4pm-6:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel on Monday, May 24th at 11am with interment to follow at St. Boniface in New Dixie.
