Bobby Funderburg

Bobby Wayne Funderburg, age 76, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019.  He was born in Monticello, Arkansas to the late Erby and Myrtis Funderburg on August 21, 1942.  Mr. Funderburg was a United States Navy Veteran and was a member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church.  He was an avid hunter and was a proud member of Benton Gun Club.  He was a loving proud supporter of his grandchildren, never missing a sporting event or school function.  He retired from the private aviation industry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny Lee and Billy Gene Funderburg.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-four years, Dorothy Funderburg, daughter, Schwanda Heldenbrand (Seth) of Benton, and grandchildren, Zack, Luke, and Marcy Flowers and Will and Sophie Heldenbrand.

Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00pm, Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church in Sanders Hall Commons, 12400 I-30, Little Rock, Arkansas.

A graveside committal service is scheduled at 9:00am, Monday, April 1, 2019 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, Arkansas with Pastor Max Pyron officiating.
